The Blue Caves are one of the best-known natural sights of Zakynthos. They lie on the northwest of the island, from Agios Nikolaos to Cape Skinari: unusual rock formations that have opened into a series of caves.
They take their name from the intense blue of the water reflected on their walls. Our boats enter inside, with a 30-minute stop for swimming. Departure is from Makris Gialos beach in Volimes.

A three-hour trip to Zakynthos’s best-known sights, the world-famous Navagio and the Blue Caves. Departure is from Makris Gialos beach and the first stop is Navagio.
The ship Panagiotis, in the middle of the beach, was wrecked in 1980 when severe weather drove it onto the rocks during a pursuit. The authorities had information that it was carrying an illegal cargo of cigarettes from Turkey. After Navagio we enter the Blue Caves to swim.
